Shift:
9pm-5am
Days Off:

As a Prairie Meadows Slot Technician, youll be keeping the heart of the casino beating. Interested? Read on.

Heres what youll be responsible for:

Installation, maintenance, and conversion of Casino gamesTroubleshooting and repair of games and associated systemsPreventative maintenance of slot machines, signage, and other related equipmentAssistance with jackpot verificationsCurrent knowledge of gaming and gaming systems through the Technicians logs, discussions, and manualsFamiliarity and adherence to all departmental and Iowa Racing & Gaming Commission procedures
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent is required. Experience in the gaming industry preferred. Strong math and communication skills are required. A positive and courteous attitude, strong business etiquette, and ability to remain calm when faced with stressful situations is required. Must be able to handle a fast-paced, demanding environment with a secondary smoke element, and elevated noise level. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly and 100 lbs. occasionally is required.
