EVS Attendant

Summary:

Cleans and services assigned area according to performance and safety standards to ensure a clean, comfortable, safe and attractive environment.

Essential Job Functions:

Keep all public and designated back of the house areas free of debris. (i.e. glasses, bottles, cans, paper, etc.) Clean and sanitize storage and public areas in casino and surrounding property area Polish all metal surfaces Vacuuming, dusting, polishing, and general cleaning of all public and back of the house areas in the casino Sweep and mop stairwells Clean vending areas Advise Director of Properties know of any shortages that need ordering (chemicals, equipment, etc.) Refill chemical stations and bottles Clean all glass surfaces Complete any extra duties as per management or supervisor All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Must be familiar with Hazardous Material/MSDS procedures and OSHA requirements Ability to communicate and maintain a high level of courtesy with casino and race track patrons Desire and willingness to learn Communication skills Ability to communicate with Team members and guests Ability to be a TEAM player Ability to successfully fulfill the pre-employment process Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week including holidays Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing with

Regularly required to see, talk and hear; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms; stand and walk Must occasionally lift and lift up to 25 pounds Frequently required to stoop, crouch or kneel Ability to interact with others while maintaining a courteous and positive demeanor Exposure to high noise level
