Job Description
Overview It is the responsibility of the Slot Technician to provide fast, friendly service while performing repairs and preventative maintenance on slot machines. Responsibilities Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, Federal and State laws and regulations, and Golden Nugget and departmental policies and procedures Consistently deliver positive, courteous and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors and fellow employees Ensure all slot machines on the casino floor are operating according to company standards Maintain confidentiality of all Golden Nugget information including business processes, customer lists and any other confidential information Perform preventive maintenance, modifications and relocation of slot machines and peripheral devices Rebuild parts/equipment during down time, and maintains the parts inventory as assigned Circulate through assigned area performing repairs as necessary Ensure that all slot/storage areas are clean and organized Responsible for the set-up and testing new slot product Responsible for the security of keys and all issued tools and equipment to perform functions of the position Complete all regulatory/operational documents thoroughly and legibly Able to work holidays and weekends, as well as flexible shifts and/or unusual hours Qualifications Minimum one year of slot repair experience High school diploma or GED equivalent Must be able to obtain a required MGC permit Pay Range USD $15.00 - USD $18.00 /Hr.
