The work of the Floor Attendant includes Performing a full range of food preparation, cleaning, and customer service for the Lounge. The duties of a Floor Attendant include but are not limited to: Maintains a neat work environment, kitchen and passenger seating area including picking up trash, washing dirty dishes, restocking and arranging buffet and food offerings, magazines and newspapers in an orderly fashion, etc.
Restocks food and beverage offerings including chaffing dishes, crock pots, trays, snacks, coffee, cups, glasses, ice, etc. in all service areasCompletes any paperwork related to daily inventory / ordersMeets customer and passenger needs through courteous customer service skills via clubroom/bar environmentMaintains current city and state approved badged and permits, as applicableAdheres to all local and state health department and other state agency regulationsAbility to function in the duties of a Customer Service Assistant if necessary
Ability to cooperate with peers, customers, and supervisors of diverse nature who may hold divergent viewsPass and maintain all necessary licenses and certifications including, but not limited to, local health department food handler certificationMust be able to stand during entire scheduled shift.
Ability to handle the stress of a fast-paced work shift up to ten (10) hoursAbility to read and interpret basic documents, and comply with all company policies and proceduresAbility to effectively present information in one-on-one and group settings to passengers, customers and other team members of the CompanyAbility to add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbersAbility to make change when making a cash transaction on Point-of-Sale machineAbility to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule formAbility to bend, climb up/down, crouch, hear, kneel, reach, speak, stand, turn, twist, walkMust be able to lift 40 pounds, 40 inches high without the aid of another personMust be able to push and/or pull 120 pounds with the assistance of a wheeled cartAbility to perform tasks safely and according to established procedures to prevent personal injury, injury to others and avoid damage to the environment, facilities, and equipmentAbility to follow all lawful safety, health and liquor rules and regulationsPersonal appearance and grooming that will present a favorable corporate and customer imageMust be able to pass and obtain security background check and clearance to work in airport environmentReport to work on a regular and timely basis

The Club is looking for Full-Time Airport Lounge Attendants with flexible availability to work weekdays, weekends, and opening and closing scheduled shifts. JOB REQUIREMENTS
Ability to successfully pass airport authority security background check. High school diploma or GED is preferred. Related background in customer service or restaurant/bar service. Must be at least 18 or 21 years of age as applicable by law. Must be able to handle multiple tasks and possess verbal communication skills necessary to communicate with customers, passengers, and co-workers. Able to work rotating shifts including weekends (i.e. Friday, Saturday and Sunday), holidays and days off. Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
