SUMMARY:
The Bistro Attendant is a guest service expert. They will take initiative to deliver exceptional service, ensuring every guest interaction feels personalized and seamless. From preparing food and beverages to engaging with guests and maintaining a clean and organized workspace, they play a key role in bringing the Courtyard experience to life. They assist with the coordination of the daily operations of the Bistro to ensure highest standards for cleanliness, product quality, and guest service for the hotel. What You'll Do Deliver exceptional guest experiences through engaging and personalized service Prepare, cook, and serve food and beverages in accordance with brand standards Communicate effectively with team members to ensure timely service Maintain cleanliness and organization, including kitchen and bistro areas Process all payment methods accurately and efficiently Stay knowledgeable on menu offerings, promotions, and preparation techniques Uphold Marriott standards for professionalism, appearance, and communication Follow all safety, sanitation, and company policies, including Food Handlers' Certification and Alcohol Server Certification, as needed Assist with inventory management and ordering Support daily operations and perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications Excellent customer service skills Strong judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions Creative, flexible, and team-oriented mindset Professional appearance and demeanor Ability to effectively communicate with individuals at all levels and diverse backgrounds Education & Experience High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred Previous server experience required No supervisory experience required Core Competencies Quality
