Soft Count Clerk

Nooksack Northwood Casino is looking for a Part-time Soft Count Clerk! Do you have good data entry, math, and team work skills? We are looking for you. We're looking for a Soft Count Clerk that will be responsible for counting gaming and non-gaming cash in compliance with our internal control procedures. This position also prepares required paperwork, and verifies counts with cage personnel. •Work schedule depends on business needs. This position usually works day shift starting at 8:30am and works until Count is complete. Count takes anywhere from four to ten hours. Ability to work all days of the week including holidays is required.

Requirements:

Ability to work in a close team environment up to 8 per day, while standing, and in a confined space Must be able to obtain and maintain a Class III Gaming License (background check required) Able to lift up to 25 pounds Able to bend and reach between 2 and 5 feet Demonstrated computer application skills At least 18 years of age

Preferred:

Previous cash handling experience Previous casino experience

Working Conditions:

Occasionally exposed to a loud, crowded, and smoke filled casino environment Will be monitored by surveillance cameras This position is currently part-time. A person who shows commitment to excellent service and attendance may have an opportunity to move to a full-time position as we resume to normal operations.
