Utilizes computerized point of sale equipment, interacts with guests, and maintains a clean facility with elevated standards of quality and attention to detail. RESPONSIBILITIES

Operate point of sale computer, handle financial transactions and process orders accurately. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in all work and storage spaces. Cleaning and stocking the venue to ensure success, rotating and organizing product to prevent spoilage. Completing sanitization and food safety protocols and logs with assistance and direction from management. Contribute effectively to a positive guest experience while maintaining a professional attitude and appearance. Works with the Dining Room Supervisor to ensure a smooth flow of guests to the restaurant.

REQUIREMENTS

Must pass a pre-employment background check. Minimum age of 18 years required to serve alcohol in the State of Alaska. Minimum age of 18 years is required to reside in company housing, where available. Must be eligible to work in the United States. Holland America-Princess is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time (e.g., H-2B status).

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

Must have or the ability to obtain an Alaska Food Handler's Card. Ability to organize and prioritize work, maintain attention to time constraints, while working in a team or group environment. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and external influences. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while achieving daily goals. Ability to support and comply with company policies, procedures and guidelines including support and comply with company health and safety standards. Ability to stand/walk/work on feet for minimum of 8 hours per day. Benefits Travel - FREE
