The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and efficient at seating guests This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to manage reservations and guest flow in a busy restaurant environment. Duties Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and welcoming demeanor. Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize guest flow. Provide accurate wait times and communicate effectively with guests. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area. Assist with guest inquiries and provide information about menu items, specials, and services. Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Handle phone calls with professionalism, providing information or taking reservations as needed. Uphold high standards of guest relations, ensuring every guest feels valued and attended to. Requirements Previous Host or food service experience is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast. Experience in restaurant or hotel settings is desirable. Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong phone etiquette and guest relations skills are essential. A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team are crucial for success in this role.
