Summary/Objective:
FOH Cashiers/Attendants are the employees with the most contact with our guests and responsible for making sure their visit is a positive one. Our Cashiers/Attendants are responsible for greeting guests, ringing in orders, expediting food, stocking supplieContinues, and maintain the cleanliness of the restaurant at all times. Essential Functions include, but are not limited to: Greet all guests in a friendly manner and ring orders into the Point of Sale system Process all transactions and perform all duties in a professional manner Adhere to all cash handling procedures, make necessary change, and provide all guests with a receipt. Process transactions that include cash, credit cards, comps and coupons without shortages/overages Check IDs and obtain required signatures on necessary transactions Record and report sales transactions per company guidelines Keep displays and display cases well stocked along with maintaining stock levels of all items both behind the register area and the dining area Prep/portion sauces and other items are needed Expedite food from the kitchen expo window to the guest Maintain the cleanliness of the dining room area at all times to include condiment shelves, wiping tables, taking out trash, and sweeping and mopping floors Abide by and insure that all PCI Health department guidelines are followed and maintain a safe & healthy work environment Be knowledgeable about the unit, the menu and the hours. Help answer phones. Assist with guest needs and help to resolve all guest issues Report to work on time in a neat and clean uniform. Well-groomed hair and personal hygiene are essential. Work Environment This position operates in a restaurant setting. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. Travel No travel is expected for this position. Required Education and Experience High school diploma or GED. Prior experience in the restaurant industry. Must be of legal age according to state regulations to serve alcohol. Preferred Education and Experience Three years' experience in the restaurant industry. Additional Eligibility Qualifications Must be 18 or older. Must maintain an applicable state health and/or alcohol compliance card.
