Job Description
Job Overview City Grill is a privately owned restaurant that offers fine dining in an elegant modern atmosphere. The host/hostess is responsible for upholding the restaurant's reputation of high standard from the beginning to the end of their visit, ensuring a remarkable experience. Responsibilities Greets and seats guests while providing menus and any additional information regarding the evening's dining experience. Answers incoming phone calls, assisting guests with reservations, questions, and to go orders. Operates ToastTables reservation management system with confidence and accuracy. Strategically manages and optimizes table assignments and seating arrangements in realtime to ensure even reservation flow and exceptional guest experience. Skills Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy to effectively manage reservations, seating arrangements, and guest flow. Ability to quickly learn and confidently operate restaurant technology systems, including reservation and point of service platforms Proven experience as a host/hostess or in a similar customer service role within a restaurant , hospitality, or guest focused environment.
