Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a welcoming and organized Host/Cashier to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As the first and last point of contact for our guests, you will play an essential role in creating a positive experience from the moment they walk in the door until they leave. This position requires a friendly demeanor, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a busy setting. You'll greet and seat guests, manage the flow of the dining room, handle customer checkouts, assist with phone calls and to-go orders, and help customers in our market section. Duties Greet and welcome guests with warmth and professionalism. Manage waitlists while seating guests efficiently. Present menus and answer initial questions about food and beverage offerings. Handle checkout transactions accurately and efficiently at the register. Assist customers in the market section with purchases and questions. Answer phone calls, provide information, and take to-go orders. Support servers and kitchen staff by communicating guest needs promptly. Maintain cleanliness and organization of host stand, checkout area, and entryway. Monitor dining room flow to ensure smooth operations. Provide attentive customer service and resolve guest concerns when needed. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant, retail, or customer service role preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-first mindset. Basic math skills and comfort with handling transactions. Ability to multitask and stay organized in a high-volume environment. Professional appearance and positive attitude. A genuine passion for hospitality and creating a welcoming guest experience.
