Restaurant Host/Hostess

Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and welcoming Restaurant Host/Hostess to be the first point of contact for our guests. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression Manage reservations efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover and guest satisfaction Answer phone inquiries with courteous phone etiquette, assisting with reservations and general questions Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and waiting area Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth service flow Handle guest concerns or special requests promptly, demonstrating excellent guest relations skills Qualifications Previous host/hostess experience in a fast-paced restaurant or food service environment preferred Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and friendly demeanor Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Experience in hospitality, serving, or hotel guest services is advantageous Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining professionalism Knowledge of phone etiquette and guest relations best practices Join our dynamic team where your welcoming personality and dedication to outstanding service will shine!
