Job description Greeting customers as they walk into the restaurant Helping guests with reservations and guiding them to their table Giving guests accurate wait time estimates and seating them in the waiting area Providing customers with menus and answering any initial questions they may have. Maintain an even distribution of tables for each waiter. Answering phones and scheduling reservations with large parties. Entering orders in the system and packing to-go orders. Updating the daily specials on the display board. Cleaning and organizing the host area. Cleaning and organizing the apparel case. Perform other assigned duties.
