Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and welcoming Host/Hostess to join our vibrant hospitality team! In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere from the moment they arrive. Responsibilities Greet guests with a friendly, positive attitude as they arrive and depart, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Maintain a waiting list, monitor guest flow, and communicate wait times clearly to guests. Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth seating transitions and timely service. Uphold cleanliness standards at the host stand and ensure all guest areas are tidy and inviting. Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and professionally. Qualifications Previous host/hostess experience or food service background preferred but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests. Experience with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Excellent customer service skills, including patience, attentiveness, and professionalism. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
