Job Description
Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Host/Hostess. In this role, you will be the welcoming face of our restaurant, managing reservations, greeting guests, and ensuring smooth seating arrangements. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will help create a warm, inviting atmosphere that encourages guests to return time and again. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality skills while contributing to a lively dining environment. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage waitlists with efficiency and friendliness Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover and guest satisfaction Answer incoming phone calls with professional phone etiquette, providing information and taking reservations accurately Maintain clear communication with servers and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service flow Uphold food safety standards and ensure cleanliness in the host station area Assist with guest services by addressing inquiries, managing guest relations, and resolving concerns promptly Experience Prior experience as a host/hostess or in food service is highly preferred Excellent communication skills, including phone communication and customer service expertise Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment Basic math skills for handling reservations, seating calculations, and POS transactions Experience with POS systems like POS or Micros POS is advantageous Knowledge of hospitality best practices, guest relations, and food safety standards
Pay:
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 - 45.0 per weekBenefits:
