You'll set the tone by providing warm greetings and efficient seating, while supporting a smooth workflow between guests and service teams.
Hourly Pay:
$16.50 - $18.00

What You'll Do Welcome Guests:
Greet patrons warmly, escort them to tables, and introduce their server.
Manage Seating:
Maintain waitlists, record guest names and party size, and provide accurate wait‑time estimates.
Handle Special Requests:
Accommodate seating preferences whenever possible.
Take Phone Orders:
Accurately input to‑go orders into FPOS, verify with customer before sending to kitchen. Know the
Menu:
Memorize ingredients and offerings to confidently answer guest questions.
Cash Transactions:
Process payments accurately and maintain tender balances in cashier drawer.
Side Work & Replenishment:
Prepare to‑go utensil and condiment setups; restock supplies like cups and dressings.
Maintain Cleanliness:
Keep host stand and front‑of‑house tidy and safe at all times.
Support Team:
Assist servers, bussers, kitchen staff, and help during busy service moments.
What You Bring Education & Experience:
High School Diploma or G.E.D. Prior restaurant or customer‑service experience is a plus.
Skills & Abilities:
Excellent communication skills (in person and via phone). Proficient with basic math and handling cash transactions. Familiarity with point‑of‑sale systems. Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
Personal Traits:
Warm, friendly, and personable demeanor. Reliable punctuality and strong work ethic. Customer service is mindset-friendly, approachable, and professional under pressure.
Physical & Schedule Requirements Physical:
Frequent standing and walking; lift/move up to 25 lbs. regularly and occasionally assist with up to 50 ft food/beverage carriage.
Mobility:
Push/pull carts and dollies; bending, reaching, and turning required.
Availability:
