The host is responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere in a restaurant by greeting and seating guests, managing reservations, and maintaining an organized waitlist. They play a key role in ensuring a smooth flow of guests by coordinating seating arrangements and communicating effectively with the waitstaff. Additionally, hostesses provide menus and information about daily specials while addressing any guest inquiries or concerns. Greeting Guests:
Welcome guests as they arrive and create a positive first impression.Seating Arrangements:
Manage the seating chart, assign tables, and escort guests to their seats.Managing Reservations:
Handle reservations and maintain an organized waitlist during busy periods.Providing Menus:
Distribute menus and inform guests of daily specials or promotions.Maintaining Cleanliness:
