Hostess/To-Go Specialist

Job Summary We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and detail-oriented Hostess/To-Go Specialist to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will be the welcoming face of our establishment, ensuring every guest feels valued from the moment they arrive or place an order for takeout. You will manage guest seating, assist with phone and online orders, and provide exceptional customer service that leaves a lasting positive impression. Your enthusiasm and communication skills will help create a vibrant, hospitable environment where guests feel appreciated and cared for at every interaction. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage waitlists efficiently to ensure smooth seating flow Assist guests with reservations, seating arrangements, and answering inquiries about the menu or services Take to-go orders accurately via phone or online platforms using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Prepare and organize takeout orders for pickup, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery to guests Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand, dining area, and takeout station Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to coordinate guest needs and special requests Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction Uphold hospitality standards by demonstrating professional phone etiquette and guest service skills at all times Experience Previous experience as a host/hostess or in food service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is key Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Experience in guest services, serving, or hotel environments enhances your ability to excel in this role Knowledge of restaurant operations and food service procedures is advantageous Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a friendly demeanor Join us to deliver memorable experiences through exceptional hospitality!
