Little Mountain is a wood-fired kitchen rooted in Montecito's coastal culture, added to the California Michelin Guide within our first six months of opening. We proudly partner with local farmers, ranchers, and fishermen to source organic and biodynamic ingredients, honoring those relationships through traditional technique and genuine care. Our Spanish Colonial dining room is designed to feel like a home: warm, considered, and unhurried. We're looking for an exceptional Host who understands that hospitality begins at the front door.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Welcome every guest with a warm and genuine greeting, setting the tone for their dining experience Escort guests to their tables with poise and attentiveness, introducing them to their server when appropriate Reset tables, maintain the guest restrooms, and answer phone calls, providing accurate information about the restaurant, menu, and policies Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming host stand and reception area at all times Communicate with the Maître d' and Dining Room team to adjust seating arrangements and accommodate special requests or VIPs Monitor the dining room and assist in pacing the flow of service to ensure an optimal guest experience Participate in pre-service briefings to stay informed about menu updates, special guests, and service priorities Address guest concerns with empathy and professionalism, escalating issues to the Maître d' or management when necessary Support additional Dining Room projects as needed

EXPERIENCE
Prior restaurant or hospitality experience is helpful but not required—we'll train the right person A genuine love for food, hospitality, and the people who share both passions with you The ability to stay calm, organized, and gracious in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills A curiosity about hospitality, food, wine, ingredients, and our restaurant's story
