Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team in a dynamic hospitality environment. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering exceptional guest experiences through excellent service, food preparation, and effective communication. Prior experience in food service, delivery driving, or hotel operations is highly desirable. The role requires a professional attitude, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Responsibilities Prepare and serve food and beverages according to established standards, ensuring high-quality presentation and taste Assist with meal preparation and kitchen duties, maintaining cleanliness and organisation in compliance with food safety regulations Deliver excellent guest services by attending to customer needs promptly and courteously Handle phone enquiries with professional phone etiquette, providing information and taking reservations or orders as required Support delivery operations if applicable, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries while maintaining vehicle safety standards Maintain cleanliness of work areas, including kitchen surfaces, dining spaces, and service stations Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations Qualifications Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or food preparation is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate Experience as a delivery driver or in hotel or catering environments is advantageous Strong communication skills with the ability to engage professionally with guests and colleagues Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in meal preparation and handling Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Excellent organisational skills with the capacity to multitask effectively during busy periods A friendly demeanour with good phone etiquette and customer service skills Flexibility to work shifts as required; previous experience in roles such as barista or culinary assistant is beneficial This position offers a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to build their career within the hospitality sector while delivering memorable experiences for guests.
