Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Expo to join our dynamic team in the hospitality industry. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an exceptional dining experience. Your responsibilities will include greeting guests, managing reservations, and maintaining the flow of service in our restaurant. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables. Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize guest flow. Communicate effectively with kitchen and wait staff to ensure timely service. Provide information about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies. Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues with professionalism and courtesy. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area. Assist with phone etiquette by answering calls promptly and taking reservations as needed. Support food service operations by assisting servers during busy periods. Skills Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written. Experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred but not required. Proficient in phone etiquette to handle reservations and inquiries effectively. Familiarity with POS systems is a plus for managing orders efficiently. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. A positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset are essential for success in this role. Join us as we strive to provide outstanding guest services in a vibrant atmosphere!
