Duties Greet guests promptly with a friendly and energetic demeanor, making them feel valued from the moment they arrive Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to optimize seating flow Escort guests to their tables, providing menus and answering initial questions about the restaurant's offerings Maintain a clean, organized host stand and ensure all guest areas are welcoming and well-maintained Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to coordinate seating times and special requests Handle guest inquiries over the phone with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette Assist in guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously to enhance overall guest satisfaction Requirements Prior experience as a host or hostess in a restaurant or food service environment is highly preferred Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on clear, friendly interaction Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous Previous hotel or guest services experience is a plus, demonstrating excellent guest relations skills Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining a positive attitude Knowledge of restaurant operations, serving protocols, and hospitality standards is beneficial Professional appearance with excellent phone etiquette and guest interaction skills Join us to be part of an energetic team dedicated to delivering outstanding hospitality!
