The host is the first and last point of contact for guests. Responsible for greeting customers, managing seating, and ensuring a smooth flow of service while providing a welcoming and organized experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet all guests promptly with a friendly attitude Manage waitlist and seating (Yelp Waitlist / walk-ins) Escort guests to tables and provide menus Maintain accurate table rotation and seating chart Answer phone calls and provide basic restaurant information Keep front entrance, waiting area, and host stand clean and organized Communicate with servers and managers about table status Monitor dining room flow and wait times Assist with basic guest needs (water, directions, etc.) Handle guest concerns politely and escalate when needed

Strong communication and customer service skills Organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment Professional appearance and positive attitude Basic knowledge of restaurant operations Ability to stand for long periods
