Job Description
Hi! We're SPARK Social We activate outdoor spaces through food, events, and vibrant shared experiences. Our parks bring communities together through food trucks, beer and wine gardens, putt-putt, reservations, private events, and public programming. Our Guest Experience Hosts are the front-of-house team members who help bring all of it to life.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We're looking for part-time, seasonal Guest Experience Hosts to help make our parks places people love to visit. Guest Experience Hosts are the operational backbone of the parks, helping turn planned experiences into smooth, memorable visits once guests arrive.This role blends:
Customer service Sales Operations support Event staffing Logistics coordination Park awareness and safety monitoring On any given shift you may help operate putt-putt, host reservations, distribute catering, assist with events, answer guest questions, sell add-on services, and coordinate with teams working throughout the park. Guest Experience Hosts regularly collaborate with: Private Events planners coordinating client events and catering Programming teams running public events Facilities and groundskeeping staff maintaining the park Food vendors operating within the park Park management overseeing daily operations Because our parks host many experiences simultaneously, this role requires comfort multitasking, communicating constantly, and adapting to changing priorities. Daily assignments may shift based on operational needs, so flexibility and teamwork are essential.DAY IN THE LIFE
Guest Experience Hosts serve as the primary point of contact for park visitors and help ensure the park runs smoothly, safely, and enjoyably for guests, vendors, and staff alike.Responsibilities include:
Greeting guests and creating a welcoming, high-energy environment Answering questions about vendors, amenities, reservations, events, policies, and park operations Helping guests navigate the park Checking guests in for putt-putt, explaining how the course works, and distributing putters, balls, and scorecards Maintaining the flow of players entering the course Hosts also support reservations and group experiences such as birthdays, celebrations, and team outings by: Responding to inquiries to sell reserved spaces and add-on services Preparing reserved spaces according to booking details Greeting and checking in reservation groups Escorting guests to their reserved spaces Explaining park processes, group concessions, and vendor systems Checking in periodically to ensure groups feel supported Catering fulfillment and group concessions are a major part of the role.Responsibilities may include:
Setting up catering orders for reservations and events Coordinating timing and delivery with vendors Supervising food and beverage setup during events Assisting guests with digital group concessions wallets for corporate parties Explaining concessions systems and troubleshooting issues as they arise Hosts also provide operational support for private events and public programming, including: Helping guests check in for events Supporting visiting vendors, performers, and partners Running supplies or assisting with event setup Helping decorate the park for holidays or special events Resetting spaces between events Balancing multiple priorities during busy park hours Throughout each shift, Hosts coordinate closely with facilities staff, event planners, programming teams, food vendors, and management.Responsibilities also include:
Performing park walkthroughs and monitoring general conditions Reporting maintenance, operational, or safety concerns Ensuring park policies are followed Escalating issues when necessary Helping maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming environment Acting as a communication bridge between teams operating simultaneously in the park The role is fast-paced, highly interactive, and ideal for someone who enjoys hospitality, problem-solving, teamwork, and creating memorable experiences for others.WHO YOU ARE

Team Player Communicative, proactive, and ready to help wherever needed. Physically Able Comfortable working outdoors, walking frequently, lifting up to 50 lbs, and standing for long periods. Reliability Matters Because our parks host reservations, events, and large groups, every scheduled shift must be fully staffed. Being present and on time for scheduled shifts is essential to the success of the entire team.EXPERIENCE & AVAILABILITY
English fluency and conversational Spanish required Prior hospitality, customer service, or events experience helpful but not required Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions Available for evening and weekend shifts Typical schedule: 8-25 hours per week, depending on demandWHY PEOPLE LOVE THIS JOB
