In this role, you will be the first point of contact, greeting guests with enthusiasm, managing reservations and waitlists, and providing outstanding customer support. Your positive attitude and communication skills will help foster a lively, hospitable atmosphere that keeps guests engaged and satisfied. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality skills while contributing to a vibrant team dedicated to guest satisfaction. Responsibilities Warmly greet guests upon arrival with a lively and professional demeanor, making them feel valued from the moment they walk in Manage reservations, waitlists, and seating arrangements efficiently using POS systems s Provide clear and friendly communication about menu options, and wait times Answer phone inquiries with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills Coordinate with the service team to ensure smooth seating flow and timely service delivery Assist with guest inquiries or concerns promptly, resolving issues with a positive attitude to maintain guest satisfaction Support the team during busy periods by helping with guest services, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a lively atmosphere Experience Prior host or hostess experience in a fast-paced food service or restaurant environment is preferred Strong customer service background with excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor Experience working with POS systems Knowledge of food service operations and hospitality standards enhances your ability to excel in this role Previous hotel or guest services experience is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with guest relations and hospitality protocols Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure Excellent phone etiquette skills for managing reservations and guest inquiries effectively
