Full Job Description Job Overview:

We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic hospitality team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will be responsible for creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere in our restaurant. Your exceptional customer service skills and attention to detail will ensure that every guest leaves with a positive impression.

Duties:

• Greet guests as they enter and exit the restaurant, ensuring a courteous and efficient welcome and farewell.
• Manage the host stand, taking reservations, and seating guests in a timely and organized manner.
• Provide excellent customer service, addressing any questions or concerns guests may have, and ensuring their needs are met throughout their dining experience.
• Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including the host stand, restrooms, and outdoor spaces.
• Assist servers with taking orders, answering phone calls, and providing guests with menus and beverage options.
• Operate the restaurant's point-of-sale (POS) system to process orders and manage tables.
• Provide exceptional guest services, including recommending dishes and drinks, and addressing any issues that may arise during the meal.
• Work closely with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor, even in high-pressure situations.
• Assist with food service and other tasks as needed to support the restaurant's operations.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in a restaurant or hotel setting, preferably as a Host/Host.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask with ease.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
• Proficiency with restaurant POS systems.
• Basic knowledge of food service and hospitality.
• Friendly, outgoing, and welcoming demeanor.
• Ability to help with tasks and provide support to other staff members.
• A passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring every guest leaves with a positive impression.
