Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage their seating preferences with enthusiasm and professionalism Handle restaurant reservation management efficiently Maintain organized waitlists and coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover and guest satisfaction Answer incoming phone calls with courteous phone etiquette, providing information about wait times, reservations, or general inquiries Assist with guest services by addressing special requests, providing menus, and ensuring a positive first impression Support food safety standards by maintaining cleanliness in the host station and ensuring proper handling of menus and reservation materials Collaborate closely with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth restaurant operations and guest relations Qualifications Previous host/hostess experience or food service experience preferred; a background in hospitality is a plus Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently over the phone and in person Excellent organizational skills to manage reservations, waitlists, and guest flow efficiently Basic math skills for handling reservations, seating calculations, and transaction processing when needed Knowledge of food safety standards and proper hygiene practices in a restaurant setting Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that enhances guest experiences Join us to be part of a lively team dedicated to creating memorable dining moments!
