Job Description
Host/Cashier Duties:
- Greet and welcome guests as they enter the establishment
- Seat guests and provide them with menus
- Take and manage reservations
- Answer phone calls and provide information to callers
- Manage the waitlist and notify guests when their table is ready
- Assist with bussing and sanitizing tables when needed
- Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized host/cashier station
Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Strong math skills, including basic math and retail math
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
