Host/Busser Job Description:

The Host/Busser is a dual position that greets and seats guests creating a welcoming atmosphere and busses, resets tables, restocks and assists the team. A strong work ethic and attention to detail are what will make you successful in this position.

What You Will Do:

Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant with a genuine smile and positive attitude. Manage guest flow, wait list, take reservations, assign tables for fair and efficient seating. Bussing and resetting tables Escort guests to their assigned tables, present menus, and assist with seating arrangements, accommodate special seating requests if possible. Maintain a professional, polished appearance, adhering to company standards. Maintain a clean well-stocked supply of utensils, napkins, condiments, and other necessary items. Adhere to safety sanitation regulations for both staff and guests.

About You:

Strong work ethic and attention to detail Positive, friendly and approachable demeanor. Able to work collaboratively as part of a team and communicate effectively with team and guests. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Able to stand, walk, bend, reach and stoop for throughout shift and able to lift up to 40lbs

Compensation Notice:

For tipped positions, employers may take a tip credit of $3.02, resulting in a direct hourly wage of $11.79 per hour. If at any time an employee's hourly wage plus tips does not equal at least state minimum wage per hour, the company will make up the difference to comply state law. Host positions will be paid at a range of $15.25-$16.00 per hour unless they are working in a Host/Busser position. Bussers are paid at the tipped credited hourly rate when receiving tips, as explained above.
