Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and welcoming Host/Hostess to be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a positive and memorable dining experience from the moment they arrive. In this role, you will manage restaurant reservations, greet guests with warmth, and coordinate seating arrangements efficiently. Your enthusiasm and excellent communication skills will set the tone for a vibrant hospitality environment, ensuring every guest feels valued and cared for. We are located at 225 Nth 5th Street, downtown GJ. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing friendly and professional customer service. Manage restaurant reservation systems and seating charts to optimize table turnover and guest flow. Answer phone inquiries with clear communication, providing accurate information about wait times, reservations, and restaurant offerings. Coordinate with the dining team to assign tables efficiently while accommodating special requests and guest preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization at the host stand, ensuring a welcoming environment at all times. Assist with guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and courteously. Requirement Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and guest interaction. Basic math skills for handling reservations, waitlist calculations, and billing procedures. Ability to remain energetic, positive, and professional throughout shifts.
