Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and welcoming Host to be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a positive and memorable experience from the moment they arrive. As a Host, you will be responsible for greeting guests, managing reservations, and ensuring smooth seating arrangements. Your enthusiasm and excellent communication skills will set the tone for an outstanding hospitality experience, making every guest feel valued and cared for. Responsibilities Warmly greet guests upon arrival with a friendly and professional demeanor Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using OpenTable Escort guests to their tables, providing menus and answering initial questions about the menu or restaurant offerings Maintain a clean and organized host stand, ensuring all guest areas are welcoming and inviting Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to coordinate seating and guest needs Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, providing accurate information and reservations assistance Assist in managing guest flow during busy periods to reduce wait times and enhance guest satisfaction Experience Prior experience as a Host or Hostess in a food service or restaurant setting is highly preferred Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including phone etiquette Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast & OpenTable is advantageous Previous hotel or hospitality experience is a plus, demonstrating adaptability in guest relations Knowledge of food service operations and restaurant procedures enhances effectiveness in this role Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining a positive attitude Join our team and be part of an energetic environment where your hospitality skills can shine!
