Responsibilities Greeting guests : Welcoming guests and making them feel welcome Managing waitlists : Maintaining a waitlist of patrons during busy times Communicating wait times : Informing guests of wait times and providing updated information Seating guests : Directing guests to tables and waiting areas Providing menus : Presenting guests with food and beverage menus Answering phones : Taking phone calls and answering questions Taking orders : Taking customer orders for food and drinks Safety procedures : Informing guests of safety procedures and helping them when needed Skills and traits
