Job Description

Overview We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team in delivering exceptional guest experiences. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in setting the tone for their visit. Your primary responsibilities will include greeting guests, managing reservations, and ensuring a smooth flow of service within the restaurant. If you have a passion for hospitality and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables. Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart to optimize table turnover. Communicate effectively with guests regarding wait times and special requests. Assist in coordinating the flow of service between the front of house and kitchen staff. Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism, ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction. Utilize POS systems, such as Aloha POS, to manage orders and assist with billing as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area. Provide support to servers during busy periods by helping with drink orders or other tasks as necessary. Qualifications Previous experience in guest relations or food service is preferred but not required. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on phone etiquette. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Familiarity with POS systems is a plus; experience with Aloha POS is highly desirable. A passion for hospitality and providing excellent guest services. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
