In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an exceptional dining experience. You will manage reservations, greet guests, and coordinate seating arrangements while maintaining a positive and efficient environment. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables. Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart to optimize table turnover. Communicate effectively with the kitchen and wait staff to ensure timely service. Answer phone calls with proper phone etiquette, taking reservations and providing information about the menu and specials. Assist guests with any inquiries or concerns, fostering excellent guest relations. Utilize Toast POS or similar systems for managing guest information and orders efficiently. Ensure the dining area is clean, organized, and inviting for guests at all times. Collaborate with team members to provide outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment. Skills Strong guest services skills with a focus on customer satisfaction. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Experience with POS systems, particularly Toast POS, is a plus. Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude and the ability to work well under pressure in a busy setting. Strong problem-solving skills to help address guest needs promptly.
