Restaurant Host/Hostess

Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival, making them feel comfortable and appreciated Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Escort guests to their tables, providing menus and answering initial questions about the menu or specials Maintain clear communication with kitchen staff and servers to coordinate seating flow and guest needs Handle guest inquiries over the phone with professionalism and courtesy, practicing excellent phone etiquette Assist in managing guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously Ensure cleanliness and organization of the host/hostess station and waiting area at all times Requirements Previous experience as a host/hostess or in food service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is key Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests, team members, and management Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Previous hotel or guest services experience is advantageous but not mandatory Knowledge of hospitality standards, including guest relations and serving practices, is beneficial Join us in creating memorable dining experiences by providing exceptional guest service!
