Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing friendly and professional customer service to enhance their experience Manage restaurant reservations and waitlists using restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Coordinate seating arrangements efficiently, balancing guest needs with operational flow Answer phone inquiries with excellent phone etiquette, taking reservations and providing information about menu offerings and wait times Maintain clear communication with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction Assist with guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and courteously Support food safety protocols and uphold cleanliness standards in the front-of-house area Requirements Prior experience as a host/hostess or in a customer service role within food service or hospitality environments Knowledge of restaurant reservation management systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly preferred Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and guest interaction abilities Excellent organizational skills to manage reservations, seating flow, and guest inquiries effectively Basic math skills for handling seating capacity and waitlist calculations Familiarity with restaurant table management systems and POS systems is a plus Experience in food safety practices, serving, or hotel/hospitality environments is advantageous Ability to work in a fast-paced setting while maintaining professionalism and positive attitude Join us in creating a lively, welcoming atmosphere where guests feel valued from the moment they walk through the door!
