Duties Welcome guests warmly upon arrival, providing exceptional guest services and creating a positive first impression Manage restaurant reservation systems and seating charts to optimize table turnover and guest flow Answer phone calls promptly using proper phone etiquette; assist with reservation inquiries and take dine-in or take-out orders as needed Coordinate with the dining staff to ensure smooth table management and timely seating of guests Handle cashier responsibilities including processing payments through POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring accuracy in transactions Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area, including menus, reservation logs, and payment stations Follow food safety standards and uphold hospitality best practices to enhance guest satisfaction and safety Experience Prior experience as a host/hostess or cashier in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred Familiarity with restaurant reservation management software and restaurant table management systems is highly desirable Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in person and over the phone Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Excellent organizational skills to manage reservations, waitlists, and guest flow efficiently Experience in food safety practices and maintaining high standards of guest relations is advantageous Join our team where your enthusiasm meets exceptional service!
