Hostess - Gianni's Restaurant (Miami Beach) About the Position Gianni's Restaurant at The Villa Casa Casuarina is seeking a professional, polished, and guest-focused Hostess to be the welcoming face of our iconic luxury dining destination. The Hostess plays a key role in creating exceptional first impressions by greeting guests warmly, managing reservations, and coordinating seating to ensure a seamless and memorable dining experience. Responsibilities Greet guests promptly and warmly upon arrival with a professional and friendly demeanor. Manage reservations using the restaurant's booking system and maintain accurate waitlists. Coordinate guest seating with servers and management to ensure smooth table flow and optimal service. Escort guests to their tables while presenting menus and explaining any specials or events when appropriate. Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing host stand and entrance area. Communicate clearly with servers, managers, and kitchen staff to ensure exceptional guest service. Accommodate special requests when possible, including celebrations, VIP guests, and dietary needs. Monitor dining room activity and assist in managing wait times during peak hours. Uphold the restaurant's standards of luxury hospitality and professionalism at all times. Requirements Ability to work in a fast-paced, upscale restaurant environment. Standing for extended periods and interacting continuously with guests. Punctual, reliable, and professional.
