Overview Join our team as a Restaurant Host/Hostess and become the welcoming face of our lively dining environment! Your enthusiasm, communication skills, and hospitality expertise will ensure guests feel valued from the moment they arrive. Responsibilities Greet guests with a genuine smile and positive attitude, making them feel immediately welcomed and comfortable Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using POS systems Answer incoming phone calls with professionalism and courtesy, providing accurate information and assisting with reservations or inquiries Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table utilization while maintaining guest satisfaction and comfort Assist guests with special requests, dietary needs, or seating preferences to enhance their overall experience Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station and waiting area to uphold high standards of hospitality Collaborate closely with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure seamless service delivery and guest relations Experience Prior host/hostess experience in a fast-paced restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a positive attitude above all Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests, team members, and management Background in customer service or guest relations Familiarity with hospitality standards, phone etiquette, and guest services is highly desirable Previous hotel or food service experience can be beneficial in understanding guest needs and expectations
