Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and professional Host/Host to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and providing excellent customer service. This role is crucial in creating a positive dining experience and maintaining guest relations. The Host/Host will manage reservations, greet guests, and assist in seating arrangements while maintaining a pleasant atmosphere. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide them with menus. Manage the seating chart and ensure efficient table turnover while minimizing wait times. Answer phone calls with proper phone etiquette, handling reservations and inquiries professionally. Utilize Aloha POS or similar systems to manage orders and reservations effectively. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth operations. Address guest concerns promptly and help resolve any issues to enhance guest satisfaction. Provide information about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies to guests as needed. Experience Previous experience in customer service or guest services is preferred. Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Background in hospitality or hotel services is advantageous but not required. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
