Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders accurately and swiftly. Handle cash and credit transactions with attention to detail, balancing registers at shift end. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station and dining area to uphold high standards of hygiene. Answer guest inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette. Assist with guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously, enhancing overall guest satisfaction. Experience Previous host/hostess experience or food service background preferred but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is key! Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests, team members, and management. Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Experience in customer service roles within food service or hotel environments is highly desirable. Knowledge of guest services, serving practices, and hospitality standards will help you excel in this role.
