Job Overview Howdy Hunny is looking for a creative, outgoing, and reliable Hat Bar Designer & Event Host to join our growing team. We are a mobil custom hat bar company that brings fun, interactive hat experiences to private events, corporate events, weddings, and exciting pop-ups throughout the Tampa Bay area and beyond. This is a part-time, hourly position where you'll work alongside our team at events, help guests create their custom hats, and learn the ins and outs of running a mobil hat bar. As you gain experience and confidence, you'll have the opportunity to grow into leading your own events and become a bigger part of the Howdy Hunny team. Responsibilities Assist with setting up and breaking down mobil hat bars at events. Welcome guests and help them design their own custom hats. Design and craft custom hats, utilizing creativity and technical skills to produce high-quality headwear tailored to client preferences. Assist with hat styling, patch placement, and embellishments. Help create a fun, engaging, memorable experience for every guest. Manage event budgets effectively, ensuring all aspects of the event run smoothly within financial parameters. Work alongside our team to keep events running smoothly and efficiently. Maintain an organized, clean and visually appealing hat bar. Learn Howdy Hunny's event flow, pricing, and systems. Travel to different event locations as needed. Build strong relationships with clients by providing exceptional customer service, understanding their needs, and offering upselling opportunities to enhance their experience. Proven experience in customer service, management, or hospitality industry roles with a focus on customer engagement. Excellent organizational skills. Technical proficiency in using event management software and other digital tools for seamless coordination. Ex. Google calendar. Exceptional communication skills to interact confidently with clients, vendors, team members, and guests. Ability to lead a team effectively while fostering a positive atmosphere during events. Skills & Qualifications Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable talking to new people. Creative with a good eye for styling and design. Reliable, dependable, and able to show up on time. Works well with others and enjoys being a part of a team. Positive attitude and a willingness to learn. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. Professional and able to represent Howdy Hunny at a variety of events. Able to life and move event supplies up to 50lbs. Reliable transportation is required, as our events take place at different locations. Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and occasional travel. Previous experience in events, retail, hospitality, styling or customer service is a plus, but not required. Pay:
