Our Hosts maintain a commitment to guest service, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience for all patrons while providing efficient and friendly service. Hosts are responsible for greeting guests, managing reservations, and overseeing the flow of the dining room. All duties will be performed within the guidelines of Nueva Cantina's policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards, and objectives . The ideal candidate has a high school diploma (or equivalent), previous experience in guest service or hospitality, and a passion for creating a welcoming and positive environment for all guests. BASIC FUNCTIONS

Maintain a commitment to guest service and satisfaction. Manage guest flow in the restaurant, ensuring a smooth dining experience for all patrons. Greet guests upon arrival and seat them in a timely manner, considering their preferences and the restaurant's seating capacity. Ensure a clean, organized, and welcoming front-of-house environment. Assist with managing reservations, both over the phone and in-person. Monitor and manage waitlists, informing guests of wait times and keeping them updated on availability. Maintain excellent communication with servers, kitchen staff, and management.

QUALIFICATIONS

Previous experience in a similar role in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
