Hostess/Cashier

Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and efficient Host/Cashier to join our team in providing exceptional service to our guests. The ideal candidate will be responsible for greeting customers, managing reservations, and handling transactions with a focus on delivering an outstanding dining experience. This role requires excellent customer service skills and a passion for hospitality in a restaurant environment. Duties Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a warm and inviting atmosphere. Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize guest flow. Take customer orders accurately and enter them into the Aloha POS system. Handle cash and credit transactions with precision, ensuring accuracy in billing. Provide information about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies to guests. Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit. Collaborate with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely service delivery. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area. Requirements Previous experience in customer service or food service is preferred. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests. Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus. Excellent phone etiquette for handling reservations and inquiries. A passion for hospitality and providing exceptional guest services. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
