About Eagle Christian Tours A back-to-back "Best Workplace" award winner in 2025 and 2026, Eagle Christian Tours exists to glorify God by serving people with the heart and mind of Christ. Located in Rome, GA, we are the #1 customer-reviewed motorcoach company in the United States, operating a fleet of 58 buses including 45' Prevost motorcoaches, 30' Temsa buses, and Ford minibuses. With over 13,000 trips per year, we serve a wide variety of guests including tour groups, college athletics, church groups, senior citizens, schools, weddings, and camps. While we have been in all 48 states, 80% of our trips remain in the southeast region of the United States. The Role Every trip is unique, but a typical day involves approximately 6 hours of drive time, 1-2 hours of on-duty non-driving time (i.e. pre-trips, loading luggage, post-trips) , and 3-4 hours of "down time" while guests enjoy their events. Most days typically run 10-12 hours from start to finish. Trips vary from single-day outings to multi-week tours, with an average length of 3 days. What We Offer Starting pay of $275/day, broken down as a $205 base rate plus a $70 non-taxed per diem Though Host-Drivers cannot solicit, they are encouraged to graciously accept any gratuities that are extended. Medical benefits, 401(k) employer contributions, and PTO for full-time Host-Drivers Hotel accommodations fully covered while on trips. Host-Drivers are not responsible for booking or paying for accommodations. 150 or 200 driving days/year guaranteed for full-time Host-Drivers; 100 days/year for part-time (with the option to drive additional days) Schedules provided 2+ weeks in advance 24/7 on-call support team always available to assist with any on-road issues — mechanical or otherwise Free use of our Host-Driver Center for those with longer commutes (private rooms, private showers, lounge, TV, and snacks) Responsibilities Safely operate buses (Prevost, Temsa, Ford minibuses) for group travel across the U.S. and to Canada Provide exceptional hospitality to all guests throughout every trip Maintain professionalism and represent Eagle Christian Tours' mission and values of Driven, Humble, & Kind at all times Communicate effectively with the Eagle support team and follow all DOT regulations Training All new Host-Drivers complete a minimum of 12 days of paid training prior to their first trip, including classroom instruction, driving through a controlled course, and on-road driving experience.
Job Requirements:
Heart for Hospitality for a wide variety of guests Class B (or Class A) Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a Passenger Endorsement and Air Brake Endorsement• Valid DOT medical card classified as interstate and submitted on the MVR as "Non-Excepted Interstate" Must reside within approximately 100 miles (2-hour drive) of Rome, GA Ability to work long days Ability to travel for multiple days at a time •No CDL? No Problem. If Eagle Christian Tours extends an offer to a candidate without a CDL or passenger endorsement, we will provide the opportunity to complete our Entry Level Driver Training (ELDT) course to obtain their license before starting employment.
