Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and organized Host to join our Zama team in the hospitality industry. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. Your responsibilities will include managing reservations, greeting guests, and coordinating seating arrangements while maintaining a high standard of guest services. Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor. Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize restaurant flow. Assist guests with inquiries, providing information about menu items and specials. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely service. Handle phone calls with professionalism, addressing guest inquiries and making reservations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area. Collaborate with team members to enhance overall guest satisfaction. Utilize Toast POS or similar systems for managing reservations and guest information. Requirements Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred. Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette. Ability to provide excellent guest services while maintaining a positive attitude. Familiarity with food service operations and restaurant environments is a plus. Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. A passion for hospitality and helping others create memorable dining experiences.
