!! We are hiring for a part-time Host/Hostess!Summary:
Under the direct supervision of the Outlet Manager this position makes reservations, greets guests and handles all transactions.Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Essential Functions:
Upon arrival, check restaurant for proper set-up. Fills out floor plan by checking station rotation chart. Posts floor plan at host stand. Seats guests following a rotation of stations, issues menus. Removes extra silverware from table when appropriate. Records number of guests on guest flow chart per station. Assists in bussing tables and re-seating as directed by restaurant manager or supervisor. Performs cashier duties while receiving check and money in a hospitable manner. Follows all accounting procedures and standards in handling transactions. Greets guests who are leaving, inquiring about their experience and inviting them back. Calls Manager or Supervisor in cases of guest dissatisfaction. Effectively operates point of sale (POS) machine. Accurately takes restaurant reservations. Answers phone adhering to the standards of phone etiquette. Keeps area clean and stocked with needed supplies.Competencies:

Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Language Skills:
Ability to read a limited number of two and three syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.Physical Demands:
