The Host/Hostess is the guest's first impression of our HaLani restaurant, and this person holds a very important role. The Host/Hostess sets the tone, pace, and vibe for the room with a warm greeting, eye contact, and aloha. Proper, accurate, and kind escorting is critical, along with managing reservations, server stations, and timing patterns of our guests. This person has a complete working knowledge of the menu and menu ingredients. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced and high-volume work environment and provide a consistent luxury guest experience. Previous Host/Hostess experience in a luxury hotel environment preferred. This is a casual position. Qualifications Any combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. High school graduate preferred. Previous related experience preferred. Ability to obtain Tuberculosis clearance. CPR and/or first aid certifications preferred.
