In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for hospitality. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables. Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently using the POS system. Answer phone calls with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant and assisting with reservations. Maintain an organized waiting list during busy periods to ensure smooth guest flow. Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff to coordinate guest needs. Assist with guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to enhance guest satisfaction. Uphold cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area. Support food service operations as needed, including assisting servers during peak hours. Requirements Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably within the hospitality or food service industry. Familiarity with POS systems; experience with Aloha POS is a plus. Strong phone etiquette and communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude and a commitment to providing excellent guest relations. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
