Job Summary We are looking for a friendly and energetic Host to be the welcoming face of our establishment. In this role, you will create a warm and inviting atmosphere for our guests, ensuring they feel comfortable from the moment they arrive. Your positive attitude and excellent communication skills will help manage reservations, greet guests, and coordinate seating arrangements efficiently. The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, enjoys engaging with people, and thrives in a lively environment. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide a friendly first impression. Manage reservations and waitlists using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to ensure smooth seating flow. Coordinate with the restaurant team to assign tables and optimize guest seating. Answer guest inquiries politely via phone or in person, providing information about wait times or menu options. Assist in maintaining a clean, organized host stand and waiting area to enhance guest experience. Support guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring satisfaction. Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to facilitate efficient service during busy hours. Skills Prior experience as a host/hostess or in food service is preferred but not mandatory. Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and guest interaction. Strong organizational abilities to manage reservations and coordinate seating effectively. Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Experience in hospitality or hotel environments enhances guest service capabilities. Ability to remain calm and friendly under pressure during busy periods. A genuine passion for providing outstanding guest services and creating memorable experiences.
